Some of you may have noticed that I’ve been quiet for a while, thank you to those of you that have noticed and have emailed to check that all is well. Everything is good in the Name Art world! I thought I’d tell you a bit about what has been happening and what is going to happen.
Our family holiday to Turkey was wonderful – thanks to Mel and Simon for the use of their wonderful apartment – we had a really lovely family time together.
Name Art has had three months that have been almost as good financially as the Christmas months last year, which has been great. Even better than that is the fact that it has not ‘taken over’ the holidays. My new website means that all my order processes and transactions are running really smoothly. I realise now how much time I was wasting on unnecessary things before. I have also started to involve my lovely friend Elise more and more with various aspects of Name Art, she’s great at the design side of things and we work well as a team. My printers are now dispatching canvasses and mounted prints on my behalf, so I’m saving huge amounts of time that I used to spend packaging and posting. The sale section of my site has been a huge success – money saving for customers and time saving for me = win, win!
All of this is especially good because I was asked to take on a four day teaching supply job as of…well, tomorrow!! I have had the summer to prepare and I am hugely excited about this. I love teaching and have always hoped that one day I could return to it on a part time basis. I thought that this would have to wait until the boys were older, but the job I’ve taken is at their school which means that I’ve been able to do it now. I cannot wait.
My weeks are going to be full of planning and teaching and my weekends are going to be crazy busy with Name Art, but Elise will help more and more and my husband is hugely supportive. I am very positive about the way forward.
I realise that I’ve been facebooking and tweeting less and I’ve missed this, I actually find it really relaxing. I’m going to make time each evening to catch up with you all and make sure that Name Art remains fresh in your minds 
So, business as normal…except that I may be a little slower to respond (rather than the instant responses you normally get!!) …but I’ll still check and respond to emails and tweets daily.

Reading work through before posting might be a first lesson – how many times did I use ‘huge’ or ‘hugely’ in that blog?! I clearly feel that things are ‘huge’ in the Name Art world LOL !!
