Life could not exist without the formation and death of stars... hence ‘We are all made of Stars’.
This celestial object looks like a delicate butterfly. But it is far from serene. The dainty butterfly wings are actually roiling cauldrons of gas heated to more than 36,000 degrees Fahrenheit. The gas released by a dying star is tearing across space at more than 600,000 miles an hour.
Butterfly Nebula NGC 6302 or the Bug Nebula is available as a public-domain, downloadable file directly from NASA.
