Often Charis is approached by customers asking for bespoke pieces of art...
'I'd like my dad's name in a Morris Minor and my mum's name in a sea horse'
- that sort of thing!
Almost anything is possible, in fact, Charis loves a new challenge...but because each new design takes hours of drawing (and many screwed up pieces of paper!), a piece of commissioned art comes at a greater cost than a personalised piece of Name Art (a name within an existing design).

Sometimes a commission will be for a business wall, such as this piece of artwork that Charis created for her fabulous local hair salon (who also stock Name Art cards!).

Charis sometimes gets asked to create logos, this is a favourite. Charis only undertakes logo work when it is clear that something 'Name Art Style' will work...ie. a word in a shape.

Brief: To design an owl, incorporating the name Oscar, in a colour scheme to compliment another piece of artwork on the wall in his nursery.
If a new design (like this one!) really works and is something that Charis thinks will appeal to a wider audience, she may start to offer it as an option in the 'Name Art' section of the site...unless, of course, it is a logo.
