Word Art is an exciting concept created by Charis, incorporating words (rather than names) in a stunning piece of artwork. Each creation is lovingly designed from scratch with the final result becoming the ultimate wow factor on a placemat, canvas, plaque...or even a t-shirt.
Step One: Charis begins her design process with a fresh blank sheet of white paper and a fine-tipped pen.
Step Two: The hand drawing is now scanned into the computer. This stage is crucial and requires much patience as Charis painstakingly neatens the edges and adds that all important splash of colour.
Step Three: This is Charis's favourite stage and the most exciting bit. As she adds shadows, embossing and other clever effects, she transforms the design which then "comes alive".
Step Four: Name Art is proud to use UK-based suppliers and is thrilled that most of these companies are situated in its home county - wonderful Wiltshire!
Charis is proud of the strong relationships she has built with a variety of suppliers for all of her products from placemats to prints. As a result, she is delighted to support small, local businesses who have time to concentrate on high quality printing and manufacturing.
